Get to Know ACE

Who are we?

For nearly 50 years, All Canadian Enterprises, (ACE), has been developing tennis players and building community around the sport across the Greater Toronto Area. What started as a single tennis program has grown into a multi-location organization, with facilities in Vaughan, Toronto and the Southwest region, each offering the same standard of coaching and program development under one system.

Every ACE location runs on a shared philosophy and a consistent path for players — from their first time picking up a racquet through Learn to Play, into competitive Performance training, and up to Academy High Performance for those pursuing college scholarships or a professional career. Wherever a player joins ACE, they're joining the same proven system.

Our History

ACE began in 1976, when Pierre Lamarche founded a Junior Tennis Academy program built on the idea that great coaching and a clear developmental path could take a player as far as their ambition would carry them.

For decades, ACE operated its Academy in Burlington before expanding to Toronto in the 2010s, and then to Vaughan in 2024. Alongside its Burlington roots, ACE has run programs across the Southwest region for years, partnering with clubs in Milton, Burlington, and Hamilton to bring the same coaching and development path to players throughout the area.

Over its history, the ACE Academy has produced professional players including Vicky Mboko and Daniel Nestor, along with hundreds of players who have gone on to compete at the university level on scholarship.

Leading ACE Into the Next 50 Years

ACE is led by Pierre Lamarche, Founder and CEO, together with Doug Burke, President of All Canadian Enterprises and General Manager of ACE SmartVMC, and Kalia Garcia-Rojas, Executive Director of All Canadian Enterprises and General Manager of ACE Toronto Tennis City.

Anca Lamarche, Vice President and Director Marketing & Communications, and Kyrylo Tabunschnyk, Vice President and General Manager of the Southwest Region, help guide ACE's direction across all three locations.

Academy programming across Vaughan, TTC, and Southwest is guided by Mathieu Sarrazin, Executive Director of ACE Academies, while Ivan Lauzon, Executive Director of ACE Club Tennis, guides ACE's other tennis programming, including Adult Services and Programming.

At the location level, this leadership is carried forward by coaches and directors across every ACE site — the team responsible for the day-to-day coaching, program development, and club experience that define ACE for every player, member and family.

Nearly fifty years after Pierre Lamarche first opened that Junior Tennis Academy in Burlington, ACE is looking ahead to the next fifty — building on the same coaching philosophy and development path that shaped generations of players, now across Vaughan, Toronto Tennis City, and the Southwest region.

50 years of building champions. Here's to the next fifty.
